All Borrowers

1. Read and Accept the Web Site Terms of Service.
2. Enter eligibility information and select your lender
3. Complete all credit information, including the dependent student information.
4. If approved, or approved with a cosigner, you will complete the rest of the loan application.
5. Make a notation of the Confirmation Number and PIN if you are going to be applying with a cosigner.
6. Complete the application, including 2 adult references.
7. Electronically sign the application and promissory note.
8. Print your loan documents to retain a copy for your records.
9. Print the Final Instructions page for your records.

NOTE: If you have already established a User ID on Sallie Mae's Manage Your LoansSM, Your Electronic AwardsSM or Loan Consolidation Web sites, you do not need to create a new account. You can log in to OpenNet® using your existing user ID and password. If you need assistance, then contact us.
